Role Purpose

To achieve zonal key performance indicators (revenue, reloads, distribution, and sales) while expanding market share.

Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

  • The Regional Sales Manager drives revenue growth in the region by executing sales strategies that convert airtime into reloads.
  • Oversees the distribution of Telecel’s airtime, ensuring distributors, DSAs, and Associate Distributors meet Telecel’s distribution KPIs.
  • Manages acquisitions (Mobile, Telecel Cash, SOHO & Fixed) and ensures subscriber growth targets are achieved through collaboration with freelancers and retailers.
  • Identifies and develops acquisition channels while ensuring Telecel Cash distribution KPIs (float & liquidity management, active agents) are met.
  • Conducts product knowledge training for agents before launch and as needed afterward.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and execute plans efficiently.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, be willing to work anywhere in the country, and adapt quickly to assigned regions.

Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in sales, distribution, or related roles.
