The Role
Field Support Surface & Underground
- Provide technical support through various channels.
- Conduct comprehensive technical training sessions.
- Execute First on Market start-ups (FoM) [Commissioning].
- Perform installations where applicable.
Product Life Cycle
- Engage in Product Safety-related tasks.
- Take charge of duties within Continuous Product Improvement (CPI).
- Lead, conduct, or participate in machine testing and verification.
- Ensure machine serviceability and user friendliness.
- Contribute to projects as a key team member and subject matter expert.
- Handle warranty matters where applicable.
- Disseminate Technical Service News Bulletins (TSNBs).
Technical Documentation and Media
- Review machine-specific manuals, including internal Epiroc system instructions.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Functional
- Extensive international travel is a requirement.
- Contribute to securing product and application competence among colleagues.
- Develop and implement technical support plans to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and leverage synergies between relevant functions related to products.
