The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a Senior Manager to join our Cybersecurity team, collaborating with esteemed industry professionals. This role involves applying leading practices to optimize cybersecurity people, process, and technology capabilities. You will gain valuable insights into the design and operations of cybersecurity programs across various industries, learning to create measurable, sustainable programs to adapt to the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Advisory Team Focus

This position is within our Advisory team, dedicated to helping clients enhance the effectiveness of operational functions. This includes assisting them in transitioning from transaction-level control, processing, and reporting to more value-driven, decision support, and analytics-oriented approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

  • Assess/design Digital Strategy.
  • Support in the selection and implementation of IT systems, including ERP and bespoke systems.
  • Act as a client-side advisor on systems implementation.
  • Lead the program management of IT-led change programs.
  • Advise and support the implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  • Assist in the adoption of new technologies, including robotic process automation.
  • Provide guidance on the social inclusion impacts of new technology.

People Responsibilities

  • Contribute to performance feedback and people-related initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrate fundamental values: professional respect, personal accountability, trustworthiness, and teamwork.
  • Foster a positive learning culture by developing junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Serve as a Counsellor to two or more team members.


Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a consulting environment.
  • Good understanding of digital and technology solutions, especially in the financial services sector.
  • Experience in selling significant IT-related consulting engagements.
  • Knowledgeable in customer engagement with an understanding of leading practices and industry challenges.
  • Ability to confidently handle multiple clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English.
  • Execution-focused with a proven ability to accomplish tasks.
  • Team player with leadership skills and aspirations.

Educational and Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in cyber and information security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., cybersecurity, information security, information technology, computer science, IT engineering).
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field of study is an added advantage.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
  • Knowledge in configuration and management of security solutions.
  • Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, PCI DSS, Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) Directive of Ghana).
  • Conversant with security strategy design, security policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in security operations, threat management, and digital forensics.
  • Required certifications: CISSP/CompTIA Security+/CISM/CISA.
  • Preferred certifications: CEH/LPT (Master)/GPEN/CompTIA PenTest+.
  • Additional advantage: ISO 27001 LI/LA, ISO 27032, PCI DSS QSA, ISO 22301 LI/LA certifications.
