Your Role and Impact
As an integral part of our Human Resources team, you will play a vital role in supporting daily people-related activities and implementing enterprise HR initiatives at the business unit (BU) or site level. Your contributions will enhance organizational performance, employee engagement, and compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, your duties will include:
- Supporting the rollout and execution of enterprise HR programs at the business unit or site level
- Processing employee data change requests in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), in collaboration with the HR Service Center
- Assisting with change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and continuous organizational development
- Providing support to maintain compliance with employment regulations at the local, state, and national levels
- Offering guidance to employees on company policies and procedures
- Acting as an HR advisor to improve people processes, employee engagement, and professional development
- Assisting in conflict resolution efforts between employees or with management, including involvement in HR investigations when necessary
- Tracking the progress of people programs, conducting HR-related research, and preparing relevant reports
- Overseeing the onboarding and offboarding experience, including analyzing exit interview data
- Participating in or supporting workplace investigations as required
Required Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background and Certifications
- A formal qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential
Knowledge Areas
- Employee coaching and advising
- Contractor management and conversion
- Familiarity with talent management systems
- Onboarding processes and procedures
- Budget preparation and HR financial management
- Handling employee relations issues
- Understanding of corporate law and organizational policies
- Knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and employment regulations
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 6 years of generalist HR experience, ideally within a mining or similar industrial operations environment

- Ability to perform procedural and task-based activities
- Capacity to follow defined steps to complete assignments
- Practical problem-solving using sound judgment or seeking assistance when needed
