The Role

  • Proactively prospect and acquire new clients through direct sales
  • Develop and implement sales service strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments, and general inquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage new/existing SME accounts
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Proactive management, supervision, and monitoring of an existing pool of accounts to achieve optimum cross-selling opportunities
  • Successfully master all operational challenges in the sales and delivery process for clients
  • Own the relationship with individual, small, and medium size clients and ensure great customer journey throughout
  • Act as a Deputy for colleagues/Account Executives when they are absent
  • Support Account Executives to ensure full compliance with the placement process
  • Keep senior team members are advised and informed of changes to information where appropriate.
  • Delivery of reliable, high quality and timely reports and documents to support Account Executives
  • Keep up with changes in the compliance function and Placement process and report where necessary
  • All company and compliance procedures, rules and regulations to be followed and adhered to.

The Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (experience in the financial industry will be an advantage)
  • Proven work experience as a sales account executive
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
